It was a fabulous day with family and friends. A three hour drive to Safford with the monsoon clouds lingering on the horizon, a car full of presents and water. And one tired Auntie Mel. The day was enjoyable, arriving at my sisters 3 hours early for the party was perfect. We got to help decorate the cupcakes, open our gifts prior to the party and play with the girls a bit before the party got under way. Then we headed to the bowling alley and bowled in the bumper lanes – I came in 2nd to last. Mom and I left around five and again beat the monsoon clouds over the horizon. Family time fills my heart and makes me happy, tired, but HAPPY!
