It’s been years. Many. Many. Years… And these girl are still in my life and re-entering my life & I cherish them. There is something so beautiful about friendship. There is something so comforting as well. Having ladies you can turn to. Turn to to ensure you maintain sanity, turn to to share your fears and excitements, turn to to get advice, turn to to laugh about the stupid things, cry about the sad things and understand everything in between. These ladies are those ladies and now they are a part of my mommy network.
How blessed am I to have ladies in my life that know me from when I was young and awkward, from when I was a teen and insecure, from when I was in college and a wild child, from prior to marriage… And now, to have them in my life despite all the years, all the challenges and changes, all the growth and and growing up, it truly is a blessing.
There is nothing better than to have someone to turn to when you are lost and confused and I have an amazing pool of friends and family for that. In motherhood, the same comfort is cherished. I love knowing that I am not taking this path alone, that I am experiencing the same struggles and joys as other women. Yes, every child and every experience is unique and thank heavens for that… I want my child to be unique, my experience to be unique, our journey to be ours and ours alone… BUT, boy am I blessed to have such amazing women to turn to when the confusion sets in, when fear takes over, when sleep is limited and there are not enough hours in the day to do it all…
Thank you to my friends, my girls, my fellow mommies… I adore all of you (those not pictured too) and I thank you for your advice, your input and your wisdom. Avery is lucky too, she thanks you from the bottom of her heart for helping to keep her mommy sane.
