You guys… I am obsessed.

I want to fill my closet with workout gear. Shoes. Shorts. Leggings. Tanks. T’s. I want to stock up, pile it in, have more than I will ever need. I love the idea of using cute and different gear as inspiration and motivation. I find that the “cuter” I feel in an outfit, the harder I try while working out. There’s something to feeling good in our skin. There’s something to getting ready for the day. And with my new found desire to make fitness a top priority, there is something to feeling fabulous while I work it all out.

Shoes shoes shoes…. I dig a cute kick. And I think that there is a significant impact on the shoes you wear and the success of your workout. Case in point, I ran 6.2 miles once in the wrong shoes. I can honestly say, running and the shoes worn during the run matter. I need stability. I also need cute. But, when I am at the gym, I don’t need all that stability. I want cute and light. Here are a few of my favorite Nike finds for stable running and light weight gym visits: Fly Knit Air Max Running Shoe, Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 31, Nike Free TR 5 Print and Nike Lunar Cross Element.

And because no one can work out in just shoes. Well, I have a new love for fitness clothes. I am all about a fun tank or t-shirt. I am all about quotes for inspiration, images for motivation. I like kitschy things on my shirt. My most favorite right now is all of the marvel comic characters. Reminds me to find my inner super hero.

As a result I need bottoms to support that vibe. Shorts, leggings, sweats, really whatever inspires a good workout. And Nike has some gems: Nike Leg-A-See Hawaiian leggings, Nike Rival 4″ Light Aqua shorts, Nike Filament Dark Green leggings and Nike Gym Vintage shorts. I mean, I am super pumped to workout just by window shopping online. Imagine if all these gems were in my closet.

And because I haven’t completely lost my mind. While looking for the perfect runner, I stumbled on many beautiful pumps and a birkenstock or two. Who wouldn’t love these Arizona Soft Footbed Birkenstocks in red? And Ugg Australia seems to have it right with Fitchie T Strap Wedge. Those who know me know I love me a good Tory Burch sandal and these Marbella Ankle Strap Leather Sandals are simply the bees knees. And simply because I have to let my quirky side stand loud and proud… I am in love with the Steve Madden Varcityy Suede Pointy Toe Pump, sure does add spunk to a simple outfit.

Finally, my Mac Book Pro shuts down on me constantly. Mid sentence. Mid blog post. Mid picture upload. Whatever, it seems to be a little groggy these days. And so I am super thrilled to see the new MacBook in a beautiful shade of gold. A little feminine, a little functional, a lot awesome. No, I don’t need it. But, yes, I do want it. I am a girl who wants what she wants after all…
