Because today the weather isn’t perfect. Which actually makes it perfect.
Isn’t that the case with life as well? We can focus on the visions within our head and heart. The perfect day, the perfect job, the perfect relationship, the perfect child, the perfect bite… But, isn’t it all of the imperfections that actually make this life beautiful?
There is always a balance between incredible and chaos. There is always a fine line between magic and insanity. There is always the fight between expectations and reality. Isn’t it our job to try to always find the good in every experience? Isn’t it our job to take the lessons from every experience and grow? Aren’t we always meant to be growing?
Today the weather isn’t perfect. For me it is a simple reminder that life will never be perfect. And there is beauty in that.

We appreciate the sunshine more after the cloudy days.
Trite as it may sound, it's true.
Someone once told me that I felt so profoundly devastated after my Mom died because I loved her so, so very intensely. And I see beauty in that.
We feel pain, because we know what love is.
We experience tough days, because we've experienced awesome ones.
Sigh.
