There was no monsoon season to speak of this past August. In fact instead of rain, we endured extreme heat warnings nearly every single day. It rained twice and the weather never caught a break, the heat persisted regardless.
As a result, as soon as September 1st rolled around I started willing fall on by fully embracing the “season”. I decorated our home for Halloween immediately. My family has been creating little magical fall moments where and when we can. I’ve started drinking pumpkin spice drinks. I’ve started planning meals and treats that reflect the season.
The first signs of change in weather are happening. Little cool kisses and light breezes at dawn (yep, I’m awake at dawn because we have a new puppy). The slightly lighter and crisper air is incredible. And it is inspiring me to jump on my bucket list tradition. Want to join me on this falls adventure?

Fall is after all my second favorite F word … food is my first! Thank goodness there is plenty of fall and food on this list!
